Congratulations to Dr. Mugambi M’Nchebere, the Director of East African School of Aviation(EASA) for being elected as the president of Association of African Aviation Training Organization(AATO).

AATO was established in Abuja in 2013 and it was key to the inception of a framework for harmonization and standardization of aviation training in Africa.

AATO works to promote harmonization and standardization of aviation training in Africa through cooperation, sharing of expertise and resources amongst members and other stakeholders. The association also designs, develops and promotes the interests of aviation training and aviation training organizations through creating designated centres of excellence across the African continent.

Being a member of the AATO, EASA edges closer in the quest to brand and position herself to meet the African training needs through collaborations, and partnerships fostered with other centres of excellence not just in Africa, but the world at large.
