This is a classroom delivered course that integrates formal lectures, individual and group simulated exercises to give the participants adequate knowledge, skills and attitude required to plan for, develop and implement a QMS

After the training, the participants will be awarded with a certificate of successful upon attaining the minimum requirements in the evaluation criteria.

 

Entry Requirements

English shall be the language of instruction. Candidates from non-English speaking countries will be required to pass the English proficiency exams.

What You Will Learn

The objectives of this course are:

  1. Introduce participants to the basic concepts of quality, ISO 9000 QMS standards and the principles of QMS 
  2. Participants to understand requirements of Quality Management within the context of aviation
  3. Participants to be able to develop QMS documentation 
  4. Give participants insights on how to develop a QMS promotion strategy within an organization
  5. Introduce participants to the concepts of risk management 
  6. Participants to understand requirements of Quality Management monitoring and evaluation
  7. Enable participants to relate to the applicable civil aviation requirements and relate these to Quality Management
Who Should Attend
  • The participants should be process supervisors or have responsibility in process implementation and/or oversight.
  • QMS Implementers (Process owners in ANSPs, AOCs, AMOs, ATOs and CAA-Inspectors), 
  • Those with interest in QMS or becoming auditors for aviation entities
Learning Activities

A student will be considered to have successfully completed the course after attaining the following:

  1. Attainment of an average of 70% in all the modules,
  2. Attain at least 80% of class attendance in all the taught units.
