The Acting Director, Mr. Eliud Jela, flanked by the Deputy Director Aviation Training, Mr. Julius Nzyoka, presided over the official closure of the ICAO Aviation Security Basic Course at the East African School of Aviation (EASA).
In his remarks, he commended the eight participants from Kenya and one from Mozambique for their dedication and successful completion of the training, emphasizing the importance of foundational aviation security knowledge in protecting civil aviation, supporting safe operations, and reinforcing compliance with international security requirements.
EASA remains committed to strengthening regional and international aviation security capacity through quality, ICAO-aligned training.
