The Director, East African School of Aviation, Dr. Serah Waitiki, flanked by Registrar, Academic Services Dr. Oliver Sindabi, presided over the official closure of the Interlocutor & Rater English Language Proficiency Course at EASA.

In her remarks, Dr. Waitiki commended participants from ASECNA Member States for successfully completing the programme, noting the critical role of qualified interlocutors and raters in upholding ICAO language proficiency standards and enhancing aviation communication, safety and regulatory compliance across the region.

EASA remains steadfast in strengthening regional aviation capacity through quality, specialized training programmes.
