The Director of the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Serah Waitiki, alongside Deputy Director, Aviation Training Mr. Julius Nzyoka, officially presided over the opening of the Basic AIXM Course at EASA.

The programme has brought together participants from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, focusing on strengthening competencies in the Aeronautical Information Exchange Model (AIXM) to support standardized aeronautical data management, digital information exchange and improved air navigation services.

EASA continues to enhance regional aviation capacity through specialized, technology-driven training programmes that support safe and efficient aviation operations.
