The Registrar, Finance & Administration at the East African School of Aviation, 𝗖𝗣𝗔 𝗝𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘂𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗲, flanked by the Deputy Director, Aviation Training, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗡𝘇𝘆𝗼𝗸𝗮, officially presided over the opening of the 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗣𝗕𝗦𝗢𝗠) 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 at EASA.
The programme has brought together participants from 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮, 𝗨𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮, 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮, and 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮, demonstrating regional collaboration in strengthening aviation safety oversight systems.
The training focuses on enhancing competencies in 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, including risk-based decision-making, safety performance monitoring, regulatory oversight, and the application of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) to improve the effectiveness of civil aviation authorities.
EASA continues to advance regional and international aviation capacity through specialized, industry-focused training programmes that promote safety, regulatory excellence, and operational performance.
