The Director of the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Serah Waitiki, flanked by the Deputy Director, Aviation Training, Mr. Julius Nzyoka, officially presided over the opening of the ICAO Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel Competency Assessment (ATSEPCA) Course at EASA.
The programme has brought together participants from Tanzania, Gabon, Eswatini, and Eswatini, demonstrating regional collaboration in strengthening the competencies of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP).
The training focuses on enhancing participants' knowledge and skills in competency assessment methodologies, the implementation of ICAO competency-based training and assessment (CBTA) principles, and the evaluation of ATSEP personnel to support safe, efficient, and reliable air navigation services.
EASA continues to advance regional and international aviation capacity through specialized, industry-focused training programmes that promote technical excellence, safety, and operational performance.
