The Director of the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Serah Waitiki, officially presided over the opening of the ICAO Air Cargo and Mail Course at EASA.
The programme has brought together participants from Burundi, Uganda, Mozambique, South Sudan, and Kenya, reflecting regional collaboration in strengthening competencies in air cargo and mail operations.
The training focuses on enhancing participantsβ understanding of ICAO standards and recommended practices related to the secure, safe, and efficient handling of air cargo and mail. The course also addresses regulatory requirements, supply chain security, risk management, and best practices that support global aviation operations.
EASA continues to advance regional and international aviation capacity through specialized, industry-focused training programmes that promote safety, security, and operational excellence.
