The Registrar, Academic Services at the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Oliver Sindabi, alongside the Deputy Director, Aviation Training Mr. Julius Nzyoka, officially presided over the opening of the Digital Cartography Course at EASA.

The programme has brought together participants from Mali, Togo, Chad, Senegal, Cameroon, Niger (ASECNA Member States) and Kenya, reflecting strong regional collaboration in aeronautical information management.

The training focuses on enhancing competencies in digital mapping, aeronautical chart production, and geospatial data management to support accurate, reliable, and efficient air navigation services.

EASA continues to strengthen regional and international aviation capacity through specialized, technology-driven training programmes.
